Hello, I'm Meghan! Originally from Antigo, WI, I've always enjoyed the outdoors. When not at work, you can often find me visiting family and friends or reading a book while proofing a new batch of sourdough. 

 

I earned my master's degree in speech-language pathology from UW-Stevens Point. With over eight years of experience working with pediatric populations, I bring a comprehensive understanding of child development and patient/family-centered care. I've had experience working with children with speech and language difficulties in parochial and public schools as well, but took a particular interest in working in the private pediatric setting after a graduate school experience at our very own Therapy Time for KIDS. 

 

I believe the most meaningful progress occurs through collaboration. Not only to other providers on your child's team, but with your family as well. I am passionate about setting and achieving goals that are significant for your child's communication or feeding needs in the environments where they are most. Personally, it is of the utmost importance to build a strong relationship with your child, creating a positive, encouraging environment where your child can feel confident and motivated to learn new skills and grow in their current capabilities. Children are so much more than the speech or feeding difficulties they may face, and my approach to therapy reflects a commitment to holistic, child-centered care.

 

My clinical areas of interest include: childhood apraxia of speech, pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders, expressive and receptive language disorders, and cleft and craniofacial disorders. Additionally, I have received professional continuing education in Beckman Oral Motor Intervention, PROMPT, The Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, and feeding and swallowing disorders in infancy. When appropriate, I pursue additional training and continuing education to align services with your child’s evolving needs.
