Jessica Kramer, MS-CCC,SLP
Hello! I received my Master's and Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a minor in Psychology, at St. Cloud State University. I am originally from Appleton and love serving the community I grew up in!
My goal as a clinician is to support both my clients and their families to reach their goals of becoming effective and functional communicators and/or feeders in a safe and positive environment. My assessment and intervention plans are based on evidence-based practice, foundational knowledge, clinical expertise and ultimately what works best for each child. In addition, individualized to the client’s current skills, incorporating personal interests/motivators, while building on a foundation of strong rapport. I believe collaboration with other professionals and family members is an essential aspect of providing the most effective intervention. Speech language pathology is an ever-evolving field; I am always incorporating new research and knowledge into my clinical practice.
My passions include childhood apraxia of speech, speech sound disorders, and feeding therapy. I have received professional continuing education in feeding and swallowing disorders in infancy, the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach, Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Treatment, and PROMPT.
I look forward to working with you and your child!
